“ The ambiance this restaurant has is amazing. From the decor to the layout and memorabilia, there is something for everyone to enjoy. Our server Charlie provided exemplary service. She gave us delicious recommendations for our dining experience and they did not disappoint. Not to mention the dessert, ricotta, gelato, and an espresso martini. OFF THE CHARTS DELICIOUS!! Thank you Charlie, Jen & Beth ”
“ We stumbled upon this hidden gem while exploring DTLA/Hollywood. It looks like a record studio once walking in, then they take you to a back room which is a bit more in modern decor. Their italian cuisine was fresh and good! We started with the Burrata and tomato. We also had the squid ink pasta to share. Everything was super tasty. We then headed over to the rooftop bar! Super cute and quaint. I had some Gin drink and it was refreshing! I recommend! ”
“ We came here for New Year's Eve for the first time and it was a cool atmosphere. It was a preset menu, with various appetizers, pasta, main and dessert. The food was very delicious and it gave us a taste of what the full menu would look like. After dinner, we went to the rooftop bar, which was packed getting ready for the NYE countdown. We listened to some music, had some drinks from the open bar and lastly did a champagne toast when the clock striked 12. The only thing to note which I'm not sure if it was related was I felt a little sick the next day. It could be from something I ate but I'm positive. It was a mix of different foods. ”
“ Been meaning to try this place for a while and finally made it. It did not disappoint, nearly everything tasted excellent! For how good the food tasted, I'm surprised it wasn't busier on a Saturday night. The star dishes were the chicken parm, fries, and burrata with focaccia. The chicken parm perfectly crispy and flavorful, that dish alone would make me come back. The fries are fried to perfection. The focaccia was crispy and fluffy, with the flavorful burrata making it a perfect combo. The two dishes that were disappointing were the rigatoni and spicy salami pizza. The sauce in the pasta felt too watery and lacking flavor. While the pizza was very greasy and salami undercooked. Overall, it was a great experience and even with a couple dishes not statisfying - it was an excellent night of great food. ”
“ The food here was excellent. Every detail seemed to be created just for the occasion. Definitely try the desserts as well. Our server was excellent, very knowledgeable and made some great recommendations. And the mood and ambience of the location was a perfect. Don't let the entrance to the location fool you. We could've easily walked right by without knowing what was inside. ”
“ I honestly had no expectations coming to this restaurant other than knowing it would be a good time & vibe being it used to be an old recording studio. However, the food here is REALLY good! We are still talking about it days later. There was not a bad dish we had. Highly recommend the following : The focaccia bread, it comes out hot and fresh Hot salami pizza Prawns Olives Aglio olio with crab Parmesan chicken (although I did not have this, 3 ppl in my group did and it looked amazing. I mean what else can you ask for, it has crispy cheese!) Tiramisu Noticed that it was becoming more a night time scene as it gets later. The rooftop is also really cute. ”
“ Service: excellent Rooftop ambiance: excellent Food: excellent We had the bottomless pizza (Sundays only) and they were all tasty and perfect. It took us all by surprise how good the pizza was. A good deal for $20 considering the location. We also got the pitcher of aperol spritz and that , too, was a great deal. The meatballs were delicious. That's a must try. Can't wait to go back. ”
“ My friend had somehow gotten a coupon so we decided to come here and it did not disappoint! First of all the fact that this place used to be recording studio is super awesome. So much history and great vibes here. The service was great at first, but our waitress didn't pay much attention to the other person that I was there with which was a bit of a bummer. We dined in the restaurant downstairs. The price was a little high, but the food tasted great. we started with Barada and bread and then we ordered a pizza and finally the Bronzino fish. I wish it would've been an option to get the protein first before all of the carbs but that's just my personal preference. I've been to the rooftop bar before and I will definitely go back there. Not sure if I would come back for the dinner experience. ”
“ This was such a cute find! We ordered the carpaccio, focaccia with balsamic butter, ricotta gnocchi, and truffle risotto - all these were delectable and I would order these again in a heartbeat. The tiramisu dessert was so cute and in theme with the restaurant. The best part was that there was a rooftop bar that was totally unexpected. Would definitely recommend here! ”
“ Note: This review is just for the rooftop bar and not the restaurant. I came by for a popup party several weeks ago and had an amazing time at the rooftop bar. Service from the staff was great and there was plenty of bartenders available to make drinks so there wasn't too long of a wait. I got some pizza after looking through the menu and it was quite tasty. The porchetta slice I got was crispy and the crust wasn't burnt. There was a good amount of toppings on top and the pineapple and chili were a great sweet and savory combo. I got the portal six cocktail which was the special for the day and it packed a punch! It was refreshing and they can make pretty much any cocktail you want. There's plenty of tables to sit down and relax at and to enjoy the music coming from the DJ booth and they have speakers spread throughout so you can hear the music wherever you are. Bathrooms are located one level down and are unisex and clean and spacious. The theming throughout the building is really unique and parking is available at $10 next door. Looking forward to returning soon to check out the restaurant and to enjoy the rooftop bar again. ”
